General Lodge Information

FRONT DESK HOURS – Lodge hours of operation are from 8am until 10am and, 3pm until 10pm. If there appears to be no one at the front desk, please ring the silver bell and someone will be right with you.

CHECK-IN – Check-in is between 3 and 9pm daily. If you arrive early, you may leave your luggage by the fireplace in the lounge but please understand that we are not responsible for lost possessions. If you will arrive late, please call us to let us know.

MEAL RESERVATIONS – Please reserve breakfast meals the night before and dinner no later than 4:30pm the same night. Breakfast is served between 8 and 9am. Dinner is served at 6:30pm. Your promptness is much appreciated.

SHUTTLE VAN – If you are checking out, guests can sign up for our daily 9:30am shuttle van to the train stations at the front desk. Pick-up service is available from 3-5pm.

GUIDED TOURS – We offer guided tours of the Nikko area for a minimum of 6 people at ¥4000 each. Past guests have really loved this service because of the local knowledge offered during the tour. Please ask our staff if the service is available during your stay.

Services

At Nikko Park Lodge we offer a variety of services, including a daily shuttle van to the train station at 9:30am, vegan options on the menu such as our Zen dinner, and a pick-up service from 3pm until 5pm from the train station. We also offer guided tours of the area when our guests show interest in this service. Our friendly staff is always available to give advice, or directions to local attractions. Our cozy lounge area boasts a few guitars, some souvenirs, free (wireless) internet, a television with Blu-ray player and Apple TV. We also have an information library of pamphlets, booklets and maps to help our guests navigate through all of tourist options here in Nikko. Whether it be hiking, history, culture, festivals or waterfalls, Nikko has something for everybody.
